JstScan is designed with privacy as a core principle.

No Data Collection

Your documents never leave your browser. All scanning, cropping, enhancement, and PDF generation happens entirely on your device using client-side processing.

Camera Access

Camera access is used solely for scanning documents. We do not record, transmit, or store any camera data. The camera stream is processed locally and discarded immediately.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand general usage patterns (page views, device types). No personal information or document content is ever transmitted.

Local Storage

JstScan may use your browser's local storage to cache the scanning engine (OpenCV.js) for faster loading. No document data is stored persistently.
